Name: Dan Rover Sex: Male Race: Human Age: 22 Height: 5'10" Weight: 150 (i don't really have much of a guess here ) Occupation: Swat Team S.T.A.R.S. (if they have ranks, then) O-1 Second Lieutenant [Commander Blood Type: O
WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT
Weapons: (i don't have all the time in the world to look things up via internet, and so far i haven't seen a place to look on the site, so ill go with what i know)
On him at all times: Main Weapon: Dynamic Blade Secondary: Impact
Available: Machine Gun, low power but effective against hordes Multipurpose Knife
Weapon Background:
The Dynamic Blade has always been the first choice weapon for Dan, even though most others would not approve...until they saw him use it. It is his most powerful weapon, easily, for it never ran out of ammo and it was easily controlled. The Dynamic Blade could slice the heads of zombies like a knife through warm butter. There are disadvantages, however. It has no range, which is bad for picking out zombies coming in hordes, and it is little use against tyrants who are able to swipe and attack, killing you instantly, if you venture too close.
The Impact is a unique gun that he found in a mission not long ago. While it is an average hand pistol, it has strikingly good aim and power. It can't hold many bullets however. A model such as the Impact has not been found before, so he kept it and gave it it's name for the damage it could deal with a single blow.
The machine gun is light and portable, but not small enough that you could keep it in your pocket. It has fairly low ammo and power, but is better than nothing.
The multipurpose knife is something he may keep on him every once in a while. It is ideal for torturing, getting bullets out of wounds, slicing ropes, and most other things. It is dangerously sharp like a saw.
Equipment: (once again, going off of my knowledge)
S.T.A.R.S. Uniform and Badge Backup Ammo Flashlight Sheath (for the sword) Pack to carry things in, though usually not seen with it Lighter
APPEARANCE

Description and Attributes:
Dan has reasonably long dark brown hair. He has deep blue eyes that always seem to focus in on something. Across his forehead lies a skin-deep scar that contains a secret about his life that most are not aware of. Dan has a skinny body for the most part, but has noticeable muscles in his arms and legs. A bright chrome necklace stays around his neck at all times, along with a single gold earring.
Dan stays in uniform almost constantly, and makes sure he is well prepared at all times in case of a sudden battle. Many things in the past made him adapt to having keen senses that would help to avoid future danger. He focuses on whatever is going on at all times, which makes him seem antisocial. However, when in a danger free area, this build seems to disappear.
Dan has many small trinkets with him at all times to help him through small but dangerous situations. As noted above, he must be very prepared in his job to do whatever it takes to complete his mission...and make it out alive.
Another attribute that seemed to make its way to Dan would be the ability to detect a bad omen, or something that he and his group should be aware of. A compression in the air that wasn't present before; something missing that had been present not long ago. Anything that would seem normal, but has something wrong with it at the same time. Upon picking up this signal when concentrating, Dan can realize when he should leave an area.
PERSONALITY
Dan, before he met the undead for the first time, was a very friendly and fun person. He would be the life of a party and would make the best out of any situation. However, his recent experiences with the real world and its problems quickly made him callous. At first, it was a joke. Then, it was a freak accident. Finally, things became very real. One minute he was up and fighting, the next he was in a hospital room with a giant load of stitches on his forehead. He remembers nothing, but people say that he was taken away, then found outside a random building still miraculously alive.
What had happened, he was unsure. However, the pain and the experiences from that point changed his total view on life. He was now always in deep thought, making sure nothing was going to go wrong. He was ready but not ready for everything. He commanded his troops with a fierceness that was mean but protective. Out of danger, you may see glimpses of his old attitudes, but in the battlefield, his main goal was to protect, fight, rescue, and survive....that's IT.
HISTORY
Ah, the past. Pleasant, but unpleasant. Dan grew up with his early years being normal. He lived in Canada, went to a beautiful school, had many friends, and was a fine person. Sadly, his parents divorced. A year later, his father was murdered. He tried to contact his mother, but he never found her. With nowhere to go, he joined the army at an unacceptably young age.
He learned the ways of the army quickly, yet still young, his interests swayed to that of a sword. He practiced with a plastic one all his life until finally, one day, the general noticed his exceptional skills. At 16, he was given a metal blade forged just for him, with the marks, grips, and size that would make it ideal to his fighting.
With his Dynamic Blade, he practiced more and more. Through small yet important missions not yet dealing with the undead, he rose in ranks. One time, while invading a hidden base of an enemy, he picked up a gun. The army and it's general never saw anything like it, and no records of a gun like that have ever been found. He tried it out and was immediately amazing with it. The strange part was, he never used a gun before in his life! His accuracy, though not perfect, looked like he had a good 5 years of practice. After further picking up his aim, he kept it and named it the Impact.
As he grew older, he was one rank away from becoming an officer. Sadly, in the earliest incidents of the undead rising, the previous 2nd lieutenant was slaughtered and eaten in front of his eyes during his first run in the fields with the beasts. He took command and was able to safely get his army out, but was blacked out randomly during this time. When he awoke, he had stitches on his head and it was 7 days later. Where he was for the previous 6, no one knows. He was found on the outskirts of town with a concussion.
He was later promoted to the officer rank for proving his skills in the battlefield, and took his new badge with honor.. Yet at the same time, there was no one looking out for him anymore; he was looking out for himself...and the lives of many others.
INTRODUCTION
I looked out of the window of the dusty recon, straight into the doomed Raccoon city. Opening the old door and stepping out, I noticed just how bad it was. We were on a cliff. The national guard had surrounded Raccoon to keep people from getting out... or even in! There was, another way of course... From the peak of the cliff, a few of my units along with myself stepped into the helicopter nearby. Flying into surprising altitudes for a copter, we flew clear over the wall and into the city, landing on top of the mall. This would be our destination.
Supposedly, our mission was to locate the survivors of the secured areas. Rumor has it that the people in the mall were able to shut down their doors and stay safe inside, yet their food supply was probably running short. This all depended on the amount of people, however. Soon we would descend into the empty corridors and hope not to be met with the destruction of the zombies and mutants that lay awaiting in the city's depths.
We landed.
Safe on the roof, we peered over the tops of the building. Sure enough, a few zombies were already lugging their bodies around in the streets below. There was silence, except for the sound of a foot being dragged in the distance. We haven't been noticed. Besides them, the streets were relatively empty. Either way, our job had nothing to do with going outside of the mall.
Opening the door, we looked inside the dark depths of the stairwell. Nervousness rose throughout the group. Our adventure officially started here....or ended.
~~Profile End, hope you enjoyed it... let me know if there was story problems~
